Renowned political economist, Prof. Pat Utomi, has said
Nigeria is not manifesting the required progress because it lacked thinkers.
He said
for the country to make progress, the universities, most especially the private
ones, must play critical roles.
Utomi, who spoke as a guest lecturer at
the first public lecture of the Chrisland University, Ajebo Road, Abeokuta, on
Tuesday, argued that if the nation was serious about development, it must begin
to groom undergraduates to think about the kind of future they desired.
