Chrisland Schools come out on top in Lagos State Whole School Evaluation

Chrisland Schools secured an Outstanding Rating in the recently conducted Whole School Evaluation by the Office of Education Quality Assurance, a division of the Ministry of Education. The exercise was carried out by District 1 Evaluators in Lagos State in November 2016. A revisit was made by the office in March 2017 to validate their findings, and found that the report was reliable and objective. In April 2017, the Director General of the Office of Education Quality Assurance (OEQA) congratulated Chrisland Schools on behalf of the Lagos State Government.

Chrisland School wins Loya Milk Swimming Competition

In a bid to encourage swimming amongst Secondary School students in Nigeria, Loya Milk organised a swimming competition dubbed “Loya Swim Meet” for Secondary Schools in Lagos State where cash prizes of over N1 million and other consolation prizes were given to participants. The competition which held at the Grange School, Harold Shodipo, Ikeja, GRA, Lagos had 10 Secondary Schools in attendance with five boys and five girls each participating in the three categories of 25 metres freestyle, 50 metres freestyle and 100 metres freestyle relay respectively. Renowned political economist, Prof. Pat Utomi, has said Nigeria is not manifesting the required progress because it lacked thinkers. Chrisland Schools WAEC 2016 Oustanding Students Award Pictures Out!

Chrisland School believes hard work and diligence should be rewarded. Chrisland School true its motto organized an awards ceremony to honour its outstanding students who performed exceptionally in the WAEC examinations. The Award Ceremony organised for the outstanding students in the 2016 WAEC Examination  took place in Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, on Tuesday 21st March, 2017. See photos after the cut.

CHRISLAND SCHOOL SPELLING BEE CHAMPION CNSVGC

Chrisland Nursery School, VGC held a Spelling Bee Competition. The first round was held on the 4th of March, 2017. It was rigorous leaving 6 pupils for the final round. These pupils include: Tobin Egemba and Nicole Ukaegbu from Reception 2 Beryl, Kanyinsola Oke and Ese Mike-Aigbe from Reception 2 Onyx and Ogochukwu Okonkwo and Ogochukwu Osu from Reception 2 Topaz. The final round took place on the 5th of March, 2017 and was highly competitive. The competition came to a close as OGOCHUKWU OSU from Reception 2 Topaz emerged as the SPELLING BEE CHAMPION.

In the creative writing competition, Chrisland College Idimu's. Addy Ibukunoluwa emerged the overall best in a creative writing competition organized by Teecocks Initiatives where ninety nine (99) secondary schools within and around Lagos State participated.
